Do not stop !

"We know, moreover, that all things work together for the good of those who love God, of those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8.28

Have you ever wanted to give up, to want to let go, to leave everything because nothing worked as you wanted ?

"You shall do this work neither by your bravery nor by strength, but by my Spirit."

Since the day he had made the decision to follow the Lord, the apostle Paul, who is the author of this verse, had never stopped experiencing multiple vicissitudes. Moreover, Jesus Christ said about him : "I will show him all that he must suffer for my name" (Acts 9:16).

100% committed to announcing the Gospel, he fought to the end, convinced that nothing and no one was likely to stop him in his race. "I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I kept faith" (2 Timothy 4: 7).

Do you know that as you pace the road to success, the devil will try with all his strength to stop you! He wants to see you abandon the race, the fight, and thus make you believe that you are a loser, someone who will never succeed !

Today, you may be discouraged, thinking that this fight you are carrying is too painful for you ; And you are certainly right !

"You shall do this work neither by your bravery nor by strength, but by my Spirit ..." (Zechariah 4: 6).

Do you know what the unfavorable circumstances in your life bring about ? Well, they bring you closer to God, and make you more dependent on him.

You can not walk without him. You can not triumph without his power ! You can not rise without his approval ! He is the only one who can give you the strength to resume your journey and achieve the goals you have set for yourself !

"But they that trust in Jehovah renew their strength, and take flight like eagles : they run, and do not grow tired, they walk, and do not tire themselves" (Isaiah 40:31).

A prayer for today

Lord, I entrust myself in you and ask you to renew my strength so that I can continue to advance with you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
