Do not stop

Searching the Scriptures

Besides, we know that everything contributes to the good of those who love God of those who are called according to his plan. Romans 8:28

Have you ever wanted to give up, wanted to let go of everything, to give up everything because nothing was working the way you wanted ?

From the day he made the decision to follow the Lord, the apostle Paul had known many ups and downs. In fact, Jesus Christ said of him : "I will show him how much he must suffer for me." (Acts 9:16)

100% committed to sharing the gospel, Paul fought to the end, convinced that nothing and no one could stop him in his tracks. In fact, the apostle says in 2 Timothy 4:7 :  "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

And you ? Are you engaged in a fight ? Are you currently facing adverse circumstances ? The Lord tells you in Zechariah 4.6 : "It is neither by power nor by force, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord, the master of the universe."

Realize that you cannot walk without God, that you cannot triumph without his power, that you cannot rise up without his approval. He is the only one who can give you the strength and courage to achieve your goals.

Remember this : all the circumstances in your life are working together for your good because you love God !

Listen to the voice of God

Let’s take the time to listen to what God means. You may be facing headwinds that push you to stop everything. Now look up to the Lord and experience his peace that surpasses all understanding.

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, all my sources are in you. I can do everything through you which strengthens me. I choose not to give up and to keep moving forward placing my trust in you."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. What are your subjects of recognition today ? Take a moment to thank the Lord for this.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, it is with you that I want to stand, in calm and confidence. You are the author of all my sources and you will never forsake me. Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. So be it !"
