Do not waste our time !

The perfect will of God for us is that we are awake, that we can understand and discern his will. Is life on earth a matter of marriage, education, having a job, children, owning a home, a car and enjoying life ? "Indeed, all this is the members of other peoples who seek it. Your heavenly Father knows that you need it" (Matthew 6:32).

Let's look at what the Bible shows us in Noah's story : "The LORD saw that men were doing a great deal of evil on the earth and that all the thoughts of their hearts were constantly and only towards evil. The LORD regretted having made man on the earth and had a grievous heart... However, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Genesis 6: 5-6, 8).

The earth was corrupt and full of violence. This is exactly the climate in which we live. The earth is today full of violence. It is filled with countless people who live only for themselves, who enjoy life and all that it can offer them. They are people who are driven by their passions, their flesh and their lusts. The world is governed and directed by the god of this century. If the Lord said to us tonight : "I will remove the church on the 31st of December," what would we do ? What would we do if we only had a few months to live ? I think we would really start thinking about the important things. I think we would leave useless things out of the present life, our little jobs, our small occupations, our small activities.

If we could just have the mind of God, the mindset of eternity, there are so many things we would not do, it was so long that we would not lose. It is important to redeem time and understand what God's will is.
