Do you hear when God speaks ?

See what love the Father has shown us so that we may be called children of God ! 1 John 3.1

"No is no ! Don't you understand French anymore ? Do you have to tell you in German ?" From the top of his 6 years, Thibault lectures his little sister. Amélie does not speak Goethe's language any more than he does. Regardless, he would just like to be heard !

Oh, how God would love to be heard from men! But it is often as if they no longer understand the many ways God uses to address them !

The first language of love of God to men is that of the creation of this breathtaking universe. Within him, on the tiny Earth, the Eternal God created men with all that is necessary for them to be happy there, with above all a sweet intimacy with himself. But human beings rejected him as Lord and Father, turned their backs on him and indulged in evil. (Romans 1.20 to 23)

So God sent his Son to redeem them from their sins. This is his second language of love, mad love to the point of accepting death on the Cross. But men did not want this Savior. (John 1.9 to 14)

Then Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to convince hearts and draw them to him, which he still does today with gentleness and patience. (John 15.26)

Be careful, whoever persists in refusing this third language of God's love must know that there is no other language of love after this ! God could be silent !
