Do you really know God ?

Search the Scriptures

To walk worthily of the Lord and to please Him completely. You will bear fruit in all kinds of good works and you will grow in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1.10

When you receive Jesus as Lord and the Holy Spirit comes to live in you, He continues to reveal more of His knowledge to you. He opens your eyes and teaches you how his laws work, how to put them into action, including the laws of healing, seed, time and harvest, and many more. The secret truths of God are no longer hidden from the believer.

If you lack knowledge, know that God has already planned to increase it in all areas where you need it. God provides this so that you can walk worthily before Him. The word worthy means appropriately. God will not send you on a mission for him without giving you what you need first. His desire is for you to be able to accomplish all that he has in store for you.

Paul goes on to pray that the fruit borne by the Church will consist of all kinds of good works. He also prays for her to progress in the knowledge of God. God wants you to bear fruit in everything you do. However, in order for this to be possible, he must first fill you with his knowledge.

The Word says that "the people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6), not for not crying, praising, or worshiping enough. This is why our primary objective is to increase our knowledge of God and his Word.

God wants you to live a blessed and fruitful life. It all starts with your willingness to let God fill you with a greater knowledge of Him.

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to the Lord. Let the Holy Spirit show you how to grow in a greater knowledge of God's Word.

Let us pray for a moment that God will fill us with an ardent desire for the knowledge of his word. "Lord, thank you for your Word which allows me to know your heart better. Make me thirstier to read it every day and to put it into practice."
