Hasn't God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to make them rich in faith and heir to the kingdom he has promised to those who love him ? James 2. 5
Does the story make sense ?
"What do I believe ? Let's not beat around the bush. I don't believe that the universe is the result of chance and a necessity that would stand on its own. I believe there is, let's drop the word. , a plan of the universe and an order of things. They develop in history and their meaning escapes us." These lines from Jean d'Ormesson bring us back to this question : does history have a meaning ? History is only a succession of conflicts and wars between nations to dominate the world. Will it always be so ?
God in the Bible reveals his plan to anyone who will believe it. He makes known to us "the mystery of his will..., what he proposed in himself : to unite everything in one in Christ, what is in the heavens and what is on the earth" (Ephesians 1:9,10). In the various periods of humanity, man has demonstrated his inability to manage the earth. Violence, immorality, injustice produce their sad effects... But God had a plan, which he wanted to carry out through his Son Jesus Christ. 2000 years ago, he came to earth, he was crucified, but his resurrection demonstrated that he was indeed the Son of God (Romans 1.4). Although it is still invisible, its time on earth changed the course of history. Jesus established a kingdom, hidden in heaven until today. But he will come soon, in the eyes of all, to establish this kingdom on the earth. His enemies will be judged. Only those who have believed in him will share his glory with him. Is this your case ?
