"Drawn !", the salvation of my brother

When God gives a word of knowledge, I do not need to ask if it is appropriate or correct. God knows better than me. My duty is to release the arrow from the bow and it will become a "rescue arrow". Only the Spirit of God can probe the depths of the spirit of man. He is not mistaken. The Spirit knows everyone's story, as well as his most secret thoughts. It is not always easy for our rational thoughts to simply pull through the open window of opportunity without seeing the real target.

However when we do it the results are amazing. One of the most shocking experiences of this kind I have known is about my brother. We had been raised together by pious parents. But he did not want to follow Jesus. When we became adults, his career and his life were all drawn.

Time had passed and I did not know that his wife had left him and that his best friend had died of cancer. His life had lost all meaning. So, one night, he had a dream. It seemed to him that he was walking on a very high bridge when he slipped and felt himself falling into the void shouting. Then he woke up soaked with sweat.

Later, he said : "For the first time in my life, I had the burning desire to pray to God, remembering a verse I had studied as a child : "Call on me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you" (Psalms 50:15). I knelt down and said : 'Lord, you know I do not even know if you exist, but my brother Reinhard is your servant. Give me a sign through him to prove to me that you are alive."

On this famous night I was 10,000 km away in Africa. I did not know anything about his problems, nor about the fact that he was thinking of ending his life simply because there was very little communication between us.
