Drawn to God

Drawn to God

Personal motivation, duty, work... what inspires you every morning to embrace the daily life ? What do we lack to enhance our existence and have a real reason for living ? Were we not created for this purpose ?

From the start, our Creator had a project for humans, that of maintaining a following relationship with each one. Creative Wisdom (the Son of God) expressed itself thus : "I was at work by his side. I did his pleasure every day, constantly playing in front of him, playing in the world, on the earth, and finding his pleasure among men" (Proverbs 8.30, 31). This wonderful relationship existed, it was lived between God and man in the Garden of Eden, until the rupture caused by sin.

Sin has won us over. God has not changed, he still tells us : "I love you with an eternal love, that is why I keep my goodness for you" (Jeremiah 31. 3). He wants to renew the dialogue. A letter from him, addressed to humanity, exists : it is the Bible. She tells us that God himself came among us, in Jesus. But to establish a new relationship with God, we must be cleansed from our sin. Jesus died and rose again for this. He gives eternal life to those who, drawn by his love, and repentant, believe him. Let us let ourselves be drawn by this bond of divine love. Delivered, we will find our real reason for living.
