Elevate Jesus by your singings

"I cry, Praise the LORD, and I am delivered from my enemies." Psalm 18.4

Do you know this secret ? A song that raises Jesus holds great power and brings liberation.

The Bible gives us a glimpse of the power of praise: while they are unjustly imprisoned, Paul and Silas sing to the glory of God. Instead of moping, they choose to raise their voices to God. And while they raise the name of Jesus high, all of a sudden, the earth trembles, the doors open and the chains of the prisoners break! What a miracle! (Acts 16.25-26).

Today, praise Jesus ! Sing it with strength and conviction !

Another example is told in the Old Testament : while Josaphat and his army are threatened by the enemy army, they begin to sing and shout their praise to God, declaring that his love lasts forever. The Bible tells us that it was when they began to sing that "the Lord sowed disorder among the Ammonites, Moabites and Edomites who came to attack the Judeans" (2 Chronicles 20: 17-22).

This power of praise is also for you. Are there doors that need to open, or chains that must fall, in your life ? Enemies that must be routed ?

Today, praise Jesus ! Sing it with strength and conviction ! Believe, declare, sing that he is above all power ! And watch things move in your life ! As King David said : "I cry, Praise the Lord, and I am delivered from my enemies." Psalm 18.4

A prayer for today

Lord, you are really above all power ! Your name is above every other name, every disease, every obstacle in my life. Praise be Jesus, I am delivered from my enemies !
