"As long as the earth remains, the sowing and the harvest, the cold and the heat, the summer and the winter, the day and the night shall not cease." Genesis 8.22
Genesis chapters 8 and 9 describe the time when God restores life on earth by means of Noah and his sons. God told them to bear fruit, and to re-populate the earth just as He had told Adam and Eve.
"Every thing you do is a seed for your future."
In Genesis 8.22, God gave Noah the solution to be fruitful. All fruit begins with a seed. If you want to grow an apple tree, you need to plant an apple seed. If you want to grow strawberries, you have to plant strawberry seeds.
The seed precedes the fruit. No seeds, no fruit. It seems so obvious ; however, there are many people today who seem ignorant of the fact that every thing in life is the product of a seed.
The good results are visible when the good seeds are sown. The bad results come from bad seeds. The eternal principle of the seed is time. What you harvest affects every aspect of life.
The thoughts and hearts of men are affected when society plants bad seeds. The economy is improved when the right "seeds" are sown and weakened when bad seeds are sown.
The seed is planted through lives, actions and what people give. Obedience is a seed, so is disobedience.
An action for today
Every thing you do is a seed for your future. Be determined to plant good seeds by what you do, by the words you express, and by the things you give so that your harvest is a blessing.
