Exercice the ministry is this the most important ?
Mark 8.36 – And what good is it for a man to win over everyone, if he loses his soul ?
When we have received a call on our life, at the opportune time chosen by God, it is important to arise and work within the framework of this call. However, for many, working in the calling has become the priority of their lives when it should rather stop.
You know that we are among those who encourage getting up or getting up. Yet today, it is clear that many are those who get up and for some, without having received the call and for others, they have received the call but God asks for a pause. But a stop for what ?
There are many of us who do and still do, but they left Jesus by the wayside. He conducts their life themselves, their ministry without the directives of God. For others, it is time to come to a standstill as they are caught in the trap of sin.
It can happen to a Christian to fall, even very low. He will then pause in the work of God which will allow him to rediscover his full identity as a child of God, like the prodigal son who returned to himself, and who said : "I will get up and I will go to my Father”. However, it is sad to see that many practice sin, using their notoriety in the ministry, their “untouchability” to do what is wrong and without ever questioning themselves. They continue to work without stopping and without solving the problem at the root.
This is where our question comes in : “Is ministry most important ?". Shouldn't we settle things before our God ? Make a stop to find ourselves at his feet, to implore his forgiveness but also for healing or complete liberation so as not to fall again like this. Have we become so impervious that we no longer hear the Holy Spirit speaking to us ?
If this is your case, my friend, it is high time to stop. Exercising the ministry, even if at the beginning it is really the call of God on your life, is not the most important for today. Come back to his feet and turn away from evil. Stop looking for excuses. Come as you are, it is there that you will be able to hear his voice again which at the appropriate time will say to you : “Go, get up, and sin no more”.
Good reflection.
