When my wife and I met Alice and Dan Luiten in Canada, none of us had really accomplished anything meaningful. I was a former salesman and my wife worked in a store. As for Alice and Dan, they had just married and left the family cocoon. That's how we met in the fall of 2001 and a great story of friendship was born.
... what you live, in general, is not the result of chance.

Often in the evening, around a good coffee, we talked about setting up a church in France and then meeting a few years later in order to live our dreams. In these passionate conversations, not only did we remake the world, but we also evoked our plans, scaffolding plans for God.

In September 2009, I became a pastor in Bordeaux and the following year, Alice and Dan joined us. From that time until this day, we continue to move forward, to encourage and stimulate ourselves, encompassing The Church, our respective ministries, the pastoral team, the people of the assembly, etc. . Everyone experiences grace through grace. Of course, much remains to be realized but God, in his immense goodness is there and he accompanies us in this journey.

What I want to tell you is this: what you live in is not the result of chance. About me, I saw what I saw, because I was in the right place at the right time. I have benefited from excellent teaching in a motivating school. I attended the New Life Church, an inspiring assembly, I had for pastor Claude Houde, one of the best preachers of the Francophonie, and I met good friends. All this led me to the paths I had to take until today.

Imagine if I had been in a legalistic school, or a church without vision with a pastor teaching reductive principles !!! If I had surrounded myself with friends with whom I would have criticized, slandered some of our acquaintances, jealous of their success, rather than expressing dreams for the Kingdom of God, what would have become of me, my wife and myself ? What would we have done? Certainly, not much.

Seek what fertilizes and fertilizes you, for the Lord has plans for peace and not misfortune, God gives you a future and a hope.
