Follow the impulsions of the Holy Spirit
Search the Scriptures
You will hear behind you these words : “Here is the path you must take to go right or left !" Isaiah 30.21
The Holy Spirit desires to lead us in our daily lives. However, sometimes we become so focused on our seemingly insurmountable problems that we fail to realize how much it speaks to us daily through small impulses.
One day, on my way to work, I planned to stop for coffee. I then had the strong intuition that I had to call my secretary to offer to take one for her as well. When I called, she said : "I was just thinking that I would appreciate a good cup of coffee."
You see, God wanted to give him what his heart wanted and wanted to use me for it. I have not heard a loud voice, nor seen an angel, nor received a vision. I simply had the inner perception that I had to offer him a cup of coffee. In the same way, God wants to bless the people in your life.
I encourage you today to keep a heart sensitive to the voice of God. Follow his impulses. He will speak to your heart and lead you on the path you need to take.
Listen the voice of God
Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. Does the small voice of the Holy Spirit speak to you today ? What does she tell you ?
Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is a sample prayer : "Holy Spirit, I choose today to lay still, so I can listen to and follow your little promptings in my life. Show me how I can bless others."
Praise God
Now, let's take a time to thank our God. "Lord, how grateful I am to you for this small voice that tells me how to act and bless those around me. What a grace !"
Act today
Following this message, do you think of someone the Lord would like to bless today ? Do not wait : obey quickly, rejoice the heart of this person... and that of God !
Honor the Lord
Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
"Thank you for this comforter, the Holy Spirit. He reassures me on the path of life. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
