Forgive, then pursue your road !

“Forgive each other as God has forgiven us” Ephesians 4:32

The word forgive in Greek literally means “to spring up out of yourself”. your lungs, knowing full well that if you don't you risk serious problems, possibly even death. So you have to exhale the stale air from your body. Do the same with all the bitterness that gnaws at you and inspire the love of God instead. The true test of love is to forgive those who are guilty. God did it for you, so He requires you to do the same. This is not an advice or a suggestion, it is an indisputable order ! Will you pass this test or will you refuse to overlook faults that are no more serious than those you have committed yourself ? Forget them, or you will be unable to feel the warmth of intimacy that God wishes you to enjoy with all of His children as well as Himself. Everything you hold deep in your heart, you keep rehashing and keeping alive. This is why you risk being aggressive towards others and never knowing the joy of loving and being loved in return. What a loss for you and others if you do so! Unwillingness to forgive is an umbilical cord that holds you prisoner to your past. By forgiving you finally cut that cord. By refusing to do so, you harbor memories that continue to eat away at you and cripple you. So often the bitterness of the past is transmitted from generation to generation. Decide today to take control of your life by saying : “I bury all this past once and for all !” Learn to receive forgiveness from God and forgiveness from those you may have wronged, then offer your forgiveness to those who have hurt you! By doing so you will feel your heart become lighter, your mind clearer, your soul free, your future clear and your mouth filled with words of kindness and love !
