Give Jesus a YES total

"As if you had put on a new garment, you became a new person. This person constantly renews and resembles his Creator more and more." Colossians 3.10

There are yes that we give, and that sometimes mean no, in fact ...

"If you do not mind, you can drive tonight, I'm tired ? - Uh yes, okay ..." Does that happen to you ?

To say yes to Jesus is to say no to many other things.

The day I said yes to Christ, where I gave him my life, I did it entirely. I gave him all that I was at the time ... That means I also gave him my failures and my insecurities.

Say yes to love, yes to truth, yes to Christ ! Yes to your life, Lord !

I put everything in his hands. I trusted him and I agreed to give him my life without reserve.

In the end, it is the only way to give Jesus his heart : entirely. The Lord expects a commitment of love strong, deep and sincere. This type of commitment he had to the cross for you. There was no half measure at the cross ... It was a total YES. A yes that gives you life and freedom.

To say yes to Jesus is to say no to many other things as the Bible tells us : "But now reject all this : anger, violence, wickedness. Do not utter any more insults or rude words ! Do not lie to each other. Indeed, what you were before with your ways of life, you got rid of it like an old clothes. And, as if you had put on a new garment, you became a new person. This person constantly renews and resembles his Creator more and more. This is how you will know God fully." Colossians 3: 8-10

And it is a victory to say no to these things to say YES to Jesus ! Every day, say no to jealousy, not to calumny, not to sin ! Say yes to love, yes to truth, yes to Christ ! Yes to your life, Lord !

If you have accepted Jesus into your heart, then you are a new creature. May your YES to Jesus be total.

A prayer for today

"Lord, you know, my desire is to please you. Help me to say YES entirely and to say NO to sin, and thus to walk in total novelty of life. Amen"
