No tree will sprout without giving later other shoots. Likewise, no one can have God's life without generating other lives. Those who never testify to sinners probably need others to testify to them. Those who do not have the desire to lead other souls to repentance before the Lord certainly need repentance themselves. Those who are silent for the Lord in front of others probably need to hear the voice of the gospel of God again.
No one can be so advanced as to no longer need to save others. Nobody can reach a level where they no longer need to testify. New converts must learn to testify from the very beginning. This is something we will have to do until the end of our lives.
When you are a little more advanced in the spiritual life, others may say : "You must be a channel of living water. You must be one with the Holy Spirit so that the living water, the Holy Spirit, can flow through you."
Every channel has two ends. This channel of the Holy Spirit, this channel of life, also has two ends. One is turned to the Holy Spirit, to life, and to the Lord, while the other is to the man. The water will never flow if the end of the side of the man is closed. No one can be so wrong as to think that only the opening to the Lord is enough. The living water does not flow through those who are open only to the Lord. One end must be open to the Lord, and the other to the man. The water will only come out when both ends are open.
Many people are helpless before God because their end to God is not open. But many more are powerless because their openness to testify and lead others to Christ is closed.
