Go to the other side !

“Jesus said to His disciples : Let us go to the other side of the lake.” Mark 4. 35

The enemy does not want you to go “over the other side” ! Because that would mean that you have come through the ordeal and come out victorious. Don't kid yourself, He doesn't mind that you go to church regularly, sing in the worship choir, or do a lot of "good works." But what he hates the most is that you fulfill the destiny that God has planned for you. He knows very well that what is at stake, on the other side of the lake, is well worth the pains and sufferings that you are experiencing today. However, going to the other side first implies a profound change. And any change is costly. Before any resurrection, it is necessary to pass through the Cross. Paul says : “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I reasoned like a child ; when I became a man, I made childish things disappear” (1 Corinthians 13:11). It's time to stop thinking like a child. It is necessary to grow, to acquire spiritual maturity, only you can decide to do it. Otherwise you will not enjoy the divine blessings that are “on the other side.” Think about the changes you need to make today. Do you need to change your schedule so that God comes first ? Do you need to reevaluate the relationships you have right now ? Are some of those you consider your friends weakening you spiritually, or conversely strengthening your faith ? Do you need to change your habits or your attitudes ? Are they likely to undermine your commitment ? Do the words that come out of your mouth speak of doubt and fear, instead of affirming your faith and trust in the One who invites you to cross over to the other side ? Isn't it the right time today to approach Him and invite Him to accompany you in order to cross over to the other side ?
