God is here !

"The Lord is my shepherd: I will not lack anything ... He restores my soul ... I fear no evil, for you are with me ..." Psalms 23: 1-4

Know it : a lost sheep is not safe, for the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he will devour (1 Peter 5: 8). Conversely, a sheep following the good shepherd does not risk anything. Even in the valley of the shadow of death she fears no evil ! If Jesus is there, ahead of you on the way, you do not need to be frightened by anything.

"Where you go I'll go."

The Bible affirms that God can do infinitely beyond what you can imagine or ask for. (Ephesians 3:20) Put all your attention on him and not on your problems. He's there !

Rather than saying : "Lord, do this or that for me," seek rather to agree on what he is already doing. He's there !

When anxiety tries to settle in your thoughts remember that the Lord Himself is your shepherd. He's there !

Yes God is here ! So, instead of trying to maintain control over your life and asking God to follow you, give yourself up now to his will. This may sound frightening or even seem dangerous but this is the best decision you can make. Simply say : "Where you go I'll go." (Ruth 1:16)

A prayer for today

O LORD, you are my shepherd ! I chose to follow you and I choose to follow you again today. According to your promise, I will not lack anything. You restore my soul. You're directing me. You lead me on the right path. I fear no evil, for you are with me. Amen.
