God is love !

I love you with an eternal love, that's why I keep you my goodness. Jeremiah 31: 3

As I read the Bible, I find that love is the supreme and dominant attribute of God. The promises of God's love and forgiveness are as real, as positive as human words can express them. But the total beauty of the ocean can not be understood until we see it and so does the love of God. As long as you do not feel it, as long as you do not have it, no one can describe its wonders to you.

Never question the great love of God, for he is a part of God as immutable as his holiness. Without God's love, none of us would have a chance in the future life. But God is love ! And his love for us is eternal.

Prayer for the day

Knowing me as I do, Lord, the knowledge of your love and your forgiveness never ceases to amaze me. Knowing this, help me to make others understand that this love is theirs too, if they are looking for it.
