God loves you, the devil knows it !

But this is how God shows his love for us : While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5.8

In the neighborhood where I grew up, there was a young drug addict who lived in an unsanitary squat. He himself thought he was in terrible shape. He had no lifestyle. Everyone stood at a distance when he appeared.

Sometimes his mother came to the city when she did not see her son coming home. This elderly lady was screaming at the top of her voice : "Where is my son ? Where is my son ?"

Once the information received, she went up to this dirty place where her son was hiding and seeing him lying on the ground completely stoned to the heroine, she took a seat at his side, placed her face against his chest and kissed him tenderly. by thanking God for having found him. Watching her act this way, everyone wondered how she was doing ? The reality was that it was her child, drugged or not she loved him !

"The love of God is unchanging and unconditional. It cannot change with your mistakes."

Have you ever felt unworthy of God's love ? Or find that you don't deserve what he does for you ?

Your faults, your shortcomings will always allow the devil to accuse you. It is a pleasure for him to condemn you and he will do anything to distance you from God. Believing in the love of God implies not doubting his love ! The love of God is unchanging and unconditional. It cannot change as you make mistakes.

Even if you have strayed, God your Father will seek you out to bring you back on the right path, like this mother who comes to look for her boy.

There is no one who is too dirty to benefit from his love ! And the devil knows it well ! But the love of God is stronger than his lies.

The next time the devil knocks on the door of your conscience, don't do him the honor of listening. Stay with the one who loves you because... "Nothing can separate us from the love of God manifested in Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

A proclamation for today

Lord, I believe in your love !
