God made you

"But those who rely on the Lord renew their strength, they take flight like eagles, run without running out, walk without getting tired." Isaiah 40:31

Living the new life is an exhilarating experience, with Christ in me allowing me to live it. As a man climbed into his Ford, something went wrong. He went out and looked at the engine, but he found nothing wrong. While he was standing there, another car appeared and he had it come down to ask for help. Coming out of a brand new Lincoln, a tall, friendly man asked : "What's wrong ?" "I can not move this Ford," was the answer. The stranger made some adjustments under the hood and then said : "Now start the car." When the engine started, his grateful owner introduced himself and then asked : "What's your name, sir ?" "My name," replied the stranger, "is Henry Ford."

The man who made the Ford was able to make it work. God created you and me, and He alone knows how to direct your life and mine. We could make a complete wreck of our lives without Christ. When he's in charge, everything is fine. Without him, we can not do anything.

Prayer for the day

Lord, I often forget to give you complete control and I fail. Teach me to rely entirely on you for my strength and needs.
