God wants the best for you

Search the Scriptures

That day, I pledged to them to bring them from Egypt to a country I had sought for them, a country flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all countrys. Ezekiel 20.6

Do you know that when God leads you into a new season of your life, he knows exactly what awaits you there ? Are you even aware that each of your trials is not unknown to him and that he experienced them before you ?

When God delivered the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery, he guided them to Canaan, the promised country he had previously carefully explored. The Lord did not confront them with insurmountable challenges or the impossible. He knew exactly where he was taking his people and what they would face. God had set about finding the best territory for his beloved children.

Likewise, Jesus experienced the same difficulties as you. He felt abandonment, betrayal, pain, loneliness, rejection, fear, etc. He faced death, illness, bereavement, etc. Every human affliction is familiar to him. He went through all the tribulations that you can know. The Epistle to the Hebrews teaches you that he is not unable to sympathize with your weaknesses, and that he was tempted in every way like you, without committing sin.

So, if you feel confused, overwhelmed by what you are going through or even abandoned, realize that the path you are on is known to your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, that he explored it before you and that he overcame the obstacles. And because he overcame the obstacles, then you can do so too, not by your own abilities, your own efforts, your own resources, but by the power of his triumph on the cross.

So, go over these truths in your heart : God wants the best for you ; whatever happens, he does not lead you to death but to eternal life, to the promised country where milk and honey flow, the abundance of his grace and his love.

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. No matter what situation you are going through today, you are not going through it alone. God is with you and knows the outcome.

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is a sample prayer : "Jesus, I praise you that none of my problems are alien to you, for you faced them yourself. Because you went through these obstacles before me, I am more than winner ! Amen."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ? Write down concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, I praise you for in you is victory. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
