Good questions !
Who will you compare God to ? And how will you represent it ? Isaiah 40.18
Could God, who gave life to all things, be other than alive ?
Could God, who is at the origin of the vastness of the universe, be limited ?
Could God, who created a world of infinite beauty, be ugly and depraved like many false gods and idols invented by men ?
God, who created the ears, the eyes, the mouth, would he be unable to hear, see or speak ?
God, who created intelligence, would he be devoid of reflection ?
Could God, who created the will, be incapable of determination ?
Could God, who created emotions, be indifferent and heartless ?
God, who has placed in the human being the sense of justice, could he be disloyal ?
God, who created man capable of loving, would he be devoid of love ?
Do not project the image of sinful man onto God, we would invent a God who does not exist. The true God is revealed in the Bible. Among his characteristics, note that he is perfect, eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, separated from evil, justice, love and truth. However, the God of the infinitely large is also that of the infinitely small ! So as high as he is above the heavens, so he bows down, according to his promise, to him who comes humbly to him : Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you (James 4:8).
