Have the courage to follow your heart

Thus, each of us will give an account to God for himself. Romans 14.12

Too many people don't care about doing God's will and plan for their lives, so busy are they trying to please others.

The world is full of people who think they know what you should be doing with your life. But the Bible says that you will be accountable to God, not to others, for what you have done on earth.

If you are not already doing this, you must begin to live in a way that will allow you to stand before Him without shame. Do you have enough courage to follow your heart rather than the crowd ? Do you stay focused on your goal even when many voices try to distract you ?

There are two types of people in the world : those who wait for things to happen and those who cause them to happen. God has already called you to do great things for His Kingdom - don't run away ! You have to live with a goal in mind. Don't just sit there and watch what everyone is doing and then do the same. Go beyond yourself, make a decision and stick to it !

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. How do you live fully for God and not for others ?

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : “Lord, I want you to be proud of my life. I fully fit into the plan you have for me. you."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, in relation to this thought for the day, it could be something like : “Lord, I bless you because - despite my imperfections - you want to use me to bless others”. Gratitude ? Take time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ?  For example : “From now on, Lord, I decide to detach myself from the opinion of others ; I want to stay focused on you and try to please you in everything I do”. I invite you to reflect - in your turn - on the concrete actions that you could implement.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, you are great and worthy of praise. You give me a purpose here. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
