Have the gift of prophecy (continued)

A fourth vase is deposited before you, which contains all the knowledge. Thanks to him, you would know God as you were known, and you would know the Word of God on the fingertips. You would have the same knowledge as God. All encyclopedias, all schools, all universities would bear your name. You would have knowledge about everything and everything.

The fifth vase would contain a faith capable of carrying mountains. If there was a tsunami somewhere, we would see you live on all TVs around the world declare to land and sea to relocate. Everything you say would come true. You could go to any hospital to cure any person. You would be financially secure and would never know the lack.

Finally, God would tell you to choose a vase, and drink its contents to live what it contains. And just before drinking, God would bring before you a sixth vase, which would contain... love. What would you do ? It's surprising, but for God, the most important thing is love. For him, having all other things would be useless without love. Yes, love works miracles, but not always. Yes, love has knowledge, but not necessarily everything.

We must aspire to all these things and to the gift of prophecy which is the most important of all gifts (1 Corinthians 14: 1-5), but without love our gifts would not serve the glory of God. We can actually function in these gifts, but they must be based on love, because without love, we are nothing. All our actions done without love will not bring rewards. We will be judged according to the love we have shown to the world. Jesus said : "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love" (John 15: 9).
