He calls you

Search the Scriptures

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God has prepared beforehand for us to do. Ephesians 2.10

"Father, give me a few more hours to tell someone who doesn't know you about you !" I will never forget this prayer made by an old man who had been condemned by medicine. Despite the weakness of his body, he wanted to continue serving his master.

Responding to God's call to be at his service is deciding to stand before him, the divine potter, saying : "Make me as you wish".

Have you realized that God created you to serve him, or are you busy with another task ? Many people miss the call of God because they allow themselves to be sidetracked by the attractive things of this world or by the sufferings they have been through during severe trials. What is most tragic in all this is that the divine call still resounds in the depths of their hearts : "I have a work to accomplish with you !".

Whatever your current life, realize that God is calling you. Do not let the cement of your will harden you and prevent you from doing something for the Master. He is your creator and he sent you to earth for a specific mission.

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. Let God tell you what He is calling you to today.

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, I want to answer your call and do all the good deeds you have prepared in advance. Help me not to be distracted, but to follow through. Amen."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ? Write down concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, thank you, for all things in heaven and on earth were created for you and by you. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
