Par Priscilla
Indeed, Christ is my life and dying represents a gain. Philippians 1:21
Helen Keller, who is a classic example of managing life's disabilities, said : "I thank God for my disabilities because through them I found myself, my job and my God." Some disabled people drown in self-pity, and thus limit their usefulness and their service to humanity and to God. The apostle Paul knew the pangs of suffering. He used his infirmity rather than allowing his infirmity to use it, and he used it for the glory of God. He seized everything, even death, to glorify his Lord. Whatever the direction of fate, he was one step ahead and used it to magnify his Savior.
Prayer for the day
Even my disabilities can be used by you, Lord Jesus. Like the apostle Paul, allow me to rise above them for your glory.
Billy Graham
