He has invested so much in you !

“In him we have been ordained as heirs, having been predestinated, according to the plan of Him who works out everything according to the decisions of His will.” Ephesians 1.11

Even before you were born, God had established a plan for your life ! “In him we have been ordained as heirs, having been predestinated, according to the plan of Him who works out everything according to the decisions of His will.” The Message translates this verse thus : “He had an eye on us, had already made plans for us to live a life of victories and had incorporated us into His general plan which governs every event of our world and the course of life. of each one." Notice that He had laid out, long ago, the plan that guides your life, including the circumstances that you mainly seek to flee or avoid ! When Jonah tried to run away from God and took a ship bound for Tarshish, God said to him in essence, “No luck ! I have already prepared My plan ! If I let you do what you want, I cease to be God ! Even if I have to raise a monumental storm, toss your ship around and put your life in danger in order to ensure the smooth running of My plan, I will do it without hesitation !” When Jonah was exhausted, he turned to God in prayer, and He answered him immediately, just in time so that he could go to Nineveh and preach to the inhabitants of that city, in fact, fulfill the mission that God entrusted to him at the beginning! You can choose to obey God right away or after rebelling against Him, but know this, you will have to submit in the end ! The Psalmist wrote : "Your ways are holy... You have made Your way in the sea, Your path in the depths of the waters" (Psalm 77:14-20). You choose ! The first path is that of obedience, the other of rebellion, but in both cases God obtains what He has decided. God has chosen you and invested too much in you to let you do what you want. Even if you have to come to Him, carried on a stretcher, you will come ! Even if you first have to kick an addiction, run away from a relationship, or give up on your own plans, you will come to Him ! You will recognize the house of God, because you will be willing to leave behind what is less important, in order to obtain what really matters most. For your own good, decide today to obey Him and follow His plan for your life.
