His goodness is renewed every day

Searching the Scriptures

The goodness of the Lord are not exhausted, his compassion do not come to an end : they are renewed every morning. How great is your loyalty ! Lamentations 3.22-23

Every day is a new opportunity to turn your back on your past and experience new life. If God divided the days into 24 hours, it shows that we need to start on a new basis. There is always a new day, a new month and a new year. But it's up to us to use these new steps and up to us to make the decision.

Are you torn by guilt and condemnation ? Are you uncomfortable thinking about the wrong you have done in the past or even yesterday ? No matter how long, the past is always the past. What is done is done and only God can deliver you from it. You just have to admit your mistake, repent of it, receive God's forgiveness, and move on.

In Lamentations, the prophet Jeremiah encourages us by reminding us that God's goodness is renewed each morning. Every day God gives us a new start. I am so happy to know that God sends me new kindness every morning. So let's decide to make a new start every day !

Listen to the voice of God

Let’s take the time to listen to what God means. Today is a new beginning offered by God. Let him tell you how to start over on a new basis.

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example prayer : "Lord, I no longer want to live in guilt and condemnation. I choose to turn my back on the past and move forward in the new path you are setting for me."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. What are your subjects of recognition today ? Take a moment to thank the Lord for this.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Thank you, Lord, for renewing your loving goodness every morning ! Thank you because every day I am renewed by your love, your mercy, your compassion and your faithfulness ! To you be the kingdom, the power and the glory to you. never. Let it be so !"
