How to give his testimony ?

The Acts of the Apostles offer us a great way to learn to bear witness. Indeed, they contain several passages where we discover the Apostle Paul testifying of his personal encounter with Jesus. And these sources are precious because they allow us to discover the method of this great man of God.

It follows a chronological order. His testimony resembles a form of trilogy, a play in three acts. He explains :

. what he was before his encounter with Christ

. what happened at the time of this meeting

. what he became after this meeting

This testimony in three points appears clearly at the time of his interview with King Agrippa :

. what he was (Acts 26: 4-11)

. what happened (Acts 26: 12-18)

. what he has become (Acts 26: 22-29)

A survey was conducted among 8,000 people to find out what led them to give their lives to Christ and to become attached to a church. The result was surprising :

. For 1 to 2% : a supernatural manifestation of the Spirit.

. For 2 to 4% : the programs (animations : childhood / youth).

. For 6 to 8% : the ministry in place.

. For 70 to 90% : the testimony of friends or relationships.

There is power in personal testimony.
