Impossible is not Christian !

Search the Scriptures

Whatever you ask for in your prayers, believe that you have received it and it will be granted to you. Mark 11.24

Just like me, reading this verse, you may have thought something like : "Wow, Lord : believing > receiving > granting, it's so simple, but how do you have enough faith ?"

Some have misinterpreted this verse to think that God wants to cater to our every whim, leading to the prosperity gospel in which the strong rule the weak.

On the contrary, I believe that this verse is a promise for believers who serve others for the extension of the kingdom of God. Here is my reasoning :

1. Jesus asked us to pray to the Father that his will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven...

2. He told us to ask him for our daily bread (Matthew 6:11).

3. Every day, therefore, things are provisioned for us in Heaven; we must believe it and receive them by faith.

4. We really need his heavenly provisions in order to accomplish all the good works that God has prepared for us in Heaven (Ephesians 2:10).

5. The Father “desires all men to be saved” (1 Timothy 2:4). If we work for the salvation of souls, we have the guarantee that He has already disposed everything favorably and provided ample provision in Heaven for our life (Ephesians 3:20).

Through prayer, we bring from Heaven to Earth what already exists and which we need each day (provisions, direction, solutions, etc.).

So, if you are a child of God, united with Christ in his position of victory, and you live entirely for the kingdom of God and the salvation of souls, you can make this promise yours : "Whatever you ask in your prayers, believe that you have received it and it will be granted to you", and see the impossible become possible. It's a bit like helping yourself to a well-filled space in the celestial warehouses, which is labeled with your name !

Finally, trust God for the timing of the fulfillment. Let's resist the devil who constantly fights against God's plans (James 4:7).

Listen the voice of God

The impossible can become possible in your situation! Meditate more on this key : "Pray, believe and it will be granted to you".

Praying is like talking to a friend. You can share everything to God, really everything. Here is a sample prayer you can follow : "Lord, I trust You ! I choose to believe and see, with the eyes of faith, the impossible becoming real in my life."

If, like me, you are amazed by the goodness of God towards you, then thank him right now with all your heart !

Act today

God loves you so much that He already has everything you need here on earth. So put your trust and faith into action and proclaim with me that He will make it happen !

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, thank you for all that you have already prepared for me in Heaven. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
