In a Catholic church

It is not only unbelievers who have rejected God, but also those millions of name Christians "who have changed the glory of the incorruptible God by images of corruptible man, birds, quadrupeds, and reptiles" (Romans 1:23).

I was sitting in front of a Catholic church, waiting for God to place a person on that path. Here is a couple pushing an elderly woman in a wheelchair. Miracle ! The woman rises vigorously from her chair to climb the few steps of the church... then resumes her place to enter the church and come out 5 minutes later. The couple jokes for a moment and then goes back to his car. I join them and ask them if they have already prayed for this sick woman. They answer me with a lot of virulence : "We are Catholics and we pray all the time for her. We are Catholics and we go to church every Sunday. We have the Bible !". I share an encouraging verse, but they do not listen to me anymore ! They are angry, preferring to remain in their religion and conscience hypocrites.

I met a lot of people hiding behind the Catholic religion. They pray, they go to church so they think they are saved. But I appeal to their conscience, who shouts loudly that they are not. Jesus encountered countless religious hypocrites. They hide behind religion, while their heart is far from God. We must preach the renunciation of dead works, the sin of praying to the dead or making statues, being soaked with love and passion, without judgment.

I met this week, while going to the Catholic Church of my city, a woman who put a subject of prayer in an urn. I offered to pray for her. Artist, devoting a certain adoration to the earth and to creation, I encouraged him from Romans 1, to put his faith in God alone. His eyes drank my words as I preached the message of the Word of God, presenting to him my life and experience with this living, real, and loving Jesus.
