I went with my family and friends in a fun fair (an amusement park, sometimes called "fair"). It was very close to the United States border, in a village a little lost. There was a crowd of people, with a very large number of young teenagers. It had been a long time since I had seen so many young people in one place.
Among the rides, inflatable games, food vending trailers and farm animals, there was a stand at the entrance called "The Christian Farmers Association of Canada". I had heard about it because they had come to explain in their church their ministry. I found it great that they could have such a location. Indeed, their volunteers distribute free objects such as bracelets, pencils and crosses, all of which have the same five colors.
They use these 5 colors to announce the Gospel in the space of a minute : green, white, red, black, and gold. In one year, they presented the gospel to more than 100,000 people in Canada by this means. The walleye represents the sky, where God lives and where there is no more suffering. The problem is that there is sin (the black color) that prevents us from accessing it because entering it, the sky would no longer be heaven. Because of his love, God has found a solution, through the red color, which represents love (or the blood of Jesus), then we become whiter than snow, forgiven by faith in his sacrifice. Then the sky is open to us and faith grows in us like a plant (the green), feeding on Bible reading, prayer, and the relationship with other Christians who have faith in Jesus.
I continued on my way and was terrified to see the "condition" of the teenagers I saw everywhere. It seemed as if the Church had been removed from the earth to leave behind her a dead, lifeless, sad youth, crumbling under the weight of a heavy burden.
