... in order to share

"And I do this because of the gospel in order to share in its blessings" (1 Corinthians 9:23).

I want to be part of the gospel, and I know that the only way to do that is to live it, that is to say, to apply what it says to me. But I know there is a wonderful part, and that encourages me. It's the best part of the cake, and God offers it to me.

There is a prize to win ! In Greek, the word "price" is "brabeion". Oh there is "brabeion" to win ! He says again : "I run to the goal, to win the prize (brabeion) of the heavenly calling of God in Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:14). He was ready to go to the death to get the prize ! Imagine the value ! This sharing of the Gospel spread the love of God in his heart to the point of writing crying. He says, speaking of the enemies of the cross, "I am still talking about it now crying" (Philippians 3:18). Oh, what a grace to cry so ! What a privilege to cry with the Lord because he shared his heart with us. Oh Lord, come and share your heart ! Share me your heart until I become completely crazy according to this world ! Put me on your glory ! Oh, I love the presence of God so much ! She takes me away as I glorify her, while I open my mouth to worship her. She comes on me so that I share in her glory !

It is this price, this bravery, that Moses had in mind when, having grown up, he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He preferred to be mistreated with the people of God for having for a time the enjoyment of sin, looking upon the reproach of Christ as a greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he had his eyes fixed on remuneration. Oh ! He had his eyes fixed on the price, on the brabeion. It was by faith that he left Egypt without being frightened by the wrath of the king ; for he was steadfast, as seeing him who is invisible. Our crown, our reward, our part, is the Lord ! This crown is incorruptible, it will never wither !
