In the city (continued)

We said yesterday that the Samaritan woman gave her testimony within two hours of meeting with the Lord. It happened the same day, not a few years later, after an evangelical meeting. She testified to others immediately after returning to the city.

When a person is saved, she should quickly tell others what she has seen and understood.

Do not talk about what you do not know, and do not give a long speech.

Just tell them what you know.

This is what you must testify ; you just have to tell others how you feel.

Some may say : "I was so depressed before believing in the Lord. But now that I believe in the Lord, I am happy. In the past, I did different things but I was never satisfied. Now I feel an ineffable sweetness. Before believing in the Lord, I could not sleep at night. But now, I sleep well. I was filled with anxiety and bitterness. But now, peace and joy accompany me everywhere".

You can not say what you do not know. Do not talk about things that are beyond your knowledge or current situation. This will lead you into futile discussions.

Introduce yourself to others as a living witness. They will not be able to dispute anything.
