If you are a child of God !

John 1.12 - But to all who received her, to those who believe in her name, she gave power to become children of God.

When the enemy is baited on a situation or on someone, it is because the Lord wants to glorify himself through this situation or that person. Here is an example : How many Christians throughout history have been attacked by the enemy on their identity ? His way of doing things is : “Are you really a child of God ?" Or "Oh, but if you were really a child of God, you...".

When we go through the life of Jesus, we can see that the enemy constantly tried to make him doubt his identity. Nonetheless, Jesus knew who He was. Whether you reread the entrance into the desert where the enemy told him : "If you are the son of God..." or whether you follow Jesus throughout his pilgrimage on earth : "Can he come from Nazareth ? something good ?" (John 1:46), and the scribes, who had come down from Jerusalem, said :" He is possessed by Beelzebub..." (Mark 3.22), the Pharisee who invited him, seeing this, said in himself : “If this man were a prophet...” (Luke 7,39), “He is an eater (glutton) and a drinker (drunkard)” (Luke 7,34), “Save yourself ! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross !” (Matthew 27.40).

Yes, the enemy has never ceased to question the identity of Jesus and in the same way, as soon as a person gets up, he tries to make him doubt his identity in Jesus : "Can anything come ? good thing from this family ? It is the devil who inspires him ! If he was a child of God, he would not experience this disease, or if he was a child of God, he would not have this behavior”.

The list is long and unfortunately you know it as well as I do. My friends, we are too easily trapped. Let’s no longer accept what the enemy blows in our hearts or what he says through others. Let's listen to God, draw close to Him, let Him tell us who we are in Him. Let us accept this full and entire identity as a child of God. At the cross, Jesus accomplished everything so that we could become the son and daughter of God. Do not doubt your position in Christ, do not doubt any more and get up because God wants to glorify himself through your life !
