Is life worth living ?

Is life worth living ?

“Life is difficult at any age. Children already know fear and sorrows, adolescents experience the first disappointments of their lives. Adults are often overwhelmed by the worries of everyday life and the responsibilities linked to their work and to his family. For many, old age is not a quiet walk...

Is our life just a succession of painful or unpleasant cycles ? Thinking about it this way, one day in my youth, I came to wonder if life was worth living... The only credible answer I found in the Bible. There I first learned that all the negative things that affect humanity are the consequence of its lack of relationship with God. When they were created, Adam and Eve were happy with God. But when they disobeyed, misfortune entered their life and that of all their descendants, all of humanity, because "all have sinned".

This first observation did not bring me any satisfaction, on the contrary. But luckily I also read that God did not want to leave us in this state. When I understood that he had sent his Son, Jesus, in order to save us, then happiness entered my heart. Jesus is not only my Savior but also my hope and my life. It is for him that I live as of now while awaiting his return. In fact, he will return to take with him those whom he has saved (1 Thessalonians 4:17). The life of a Christian is worth living ! "
