Is there a doctor on board ?

The whole head is sick, and the whole heart is sick. Isaiah 1.5

In 2003, Dorothy Fletcher flew from England to the USA to attend her daughter's wedding. In mid-flight, she suffered a serious heart attack. When the hostess asks for a doctor at the microphone, no less than 15 people get up... all cardiologists on their way to a convention in Florida ! After first aid and a few days of hospitalization, Dorothy is recovering. “These doctors have been wonderful. They saved my life, ”she explains.

And we, who will we call on to treat our heart disease ? This disease of sin and revolt against God that will lead us to judgment and eternal death. Unless... someone gets up to save us. Could it be a man of God like Abraham, Moses, Peter or Paul ? No, they are just men. Could this be one of the countless false prophets, gurus or gods the world has produced since the dawn of time ? No more.

Only one is able to come to our aid : Jesus Christ. He is God made man, and he gave his life for us. He is the compassionate “Cardiologist” able to purify and heal our hearts. Let’s call on him before it’s too late. Like Dorothy, may we one day exclaim, “Jesus, the Divine Physician, was wonderful. He saved my life” !
