Jesus comes back

"Therefore, you too, be ready, for the Son of Man will come at a time when you will not think of it" (Matthew 24:44).

The Bride of Christ must live in a constant and joyous expectation of His imminent return, because He can come back every moment. Jesus warned that in the last days false prophets would infiltrate the Church to try to get him to sleep. They will try to turn his heart away from love for his betrothed by proclaiming : "[The] master is slow to come" (24:48).

This gospel is preached by men who do not want to pay the price of obedience to the commandments of Christ. They have sinful habits and double lives, so obviously they do not want Jesus to come back. It is for this reason that they have concocted their own doctrine, to justify the fact that they continue to sin. The Bible says that those who claim that Jesus is slow to come are "wicked servants" (see 24:48)

Beloved, do not let such teachings persuade you. They lead to the spirit of the world and the disappearance of all motivations for a holy life and for the passion for Jesus. Some Christians living in compromise say : "Why should I live waiting for His return if I have to die a normal death ? I can live like I want to - party and participate in drinking parties! Then, like the thief on the cross, I will shout just before I die : "Lord, have mercy !"

I encourage you to wait for his return! If you are part of the Bride of Christ, you will be so impatient that you will want to see Him immediately ! You will cry : "Lord, I am ready for your return. I know you're close - I can feel it - and I'm so impatient to see you. My heart cries in me : "Here is the Bridegroom". Come, Lord Jesus !"
