Jesus will find a solution for you

Searching the Scriptures

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother's sister […] Jesus saw his mother and, near her, the disciple he loved. He said to his mother : "Woman, here is your son." Then he said to the disciple : "Here is your mother." From that moment the disciple took her to his home. John 19.25-27

Jesus always finds the solution for those who come to his feet. In this passage, Marie and Jean are in great pain. Mary loses her child and, like any mother would have been, her heart is torn in front of this bloody picture that is the cross. As for Jean, he is a young man broken by the loss of his master.

Jesus, in the midst of his own suffering, has the solution : "« Woman, here is your son. » Then he said to the disciple : « Here is your mother. » And from that moment the disciple took her to his home."

In other words, Mary loses her son and Jesus gives her a new one. Jean suffers from the loss of his master ; he needs comfort in his pain, so Jesus gives him a mother. Understand this : Jesus always finds the solution for those whose hearts are broken.

Jesus knows how to take care of us ; it always responds in a precise and relevant way to our needs.

If you are suffering today, then come to Jesus' feet and he will find the solution to your problem. As a man, I can be sensitive to your suffering, I can cry with you, without having the solution, but it is not so with Jesus. Our King will always find the solution. Trust him.

Listen to the voice of God

Let’s take the time to listen to what God means. Jesus knows what you are going through. As he was there for Mary and John, he is present at your side to comfort you.

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example prayer : "Lord, you know my suffering and you know exactly what I need. That is why I put my life in your hands. Thank you for the solution you are giving me now."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. What are your subjects of recognition today ? Take a moment to thank the Lord for this.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, the solution is on the way, I believe it. Thank you for your listening and your love for me. Yours be the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. So be it !"
