Just a question of choice !

Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters. For, either he will hate the one and love the other ; or he will cling to one and despise the other.

To continue the momentum of yesterday and the day before, today I would like to talk about the word "or" ! Don't you find that the fact that human beings, such a small collection of molecules in such a gigantic universe, can have the power to choose is extraordinary ? He can only hold this faculty from the Creator who created him in his image ! However this "or" positions us in front of a serious reality especially at the level of our eternity : according to this choice, our eternal future will be glorious or dramatic !

As a servant of God said, no choice is also a choice. When Jesus asked the Pharisees the question, "John's baptism, where did it come from ?" from heaven, or from men ?", They made the deliberate choice not to answer a" we do not know " ! The possibility of choosing is an immense privilege but also a duty which we cannot shirk.

James tells us that an irresolute man, one who therefore does not know how to decide, should not imagine that he is getting anything from the Lord (James 1:7 and 8). God prefers someone who positions himself over someone who is wrong on both sides. Do we know how to choose and assume the consequences of this choice ?

I would also like to tell you that this "or" will occur to you several times during this day. Will you have the wisdom to choose the best for you and your loved ones ? Will you take the freedom of the children of God not to do "anything" ? This choice, will you make it with careful thought ? Which master will you like to please ?

A little word of two letters, a stop between two possibilities, one of them is bound to be good, choose it !
