Keep the right attitude !

Search the Scriptures

We continually give thanks to God for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, we ceaselessly remember the work of your faith, the work of your charity, and the firmness of your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before God. our father. 1 Thessalonians 1.2-3

Paul knows that eyes are constantly on the believers in Thessalonica, that all around them are watching them. This is why he encourages them to manifest the reality of their faith by concrete acts, to show by their behavior that the Gospel has truly transformed them.

Paul is grateful for "the work of their faith" and the "work of their charity". He also reminds them that all their actions must be inspired by love. The words translated here as "work" and "work" suggest that we can grow weary of our daily tasks or even of our craft. This type of activity can take all our energy. These occupations may seem futile to us, without anything spiritual.

We all know what "hard work" means. We are aware that work can be exhausting. We can experience difficulties and frustrations in our profession, our personal and family life. But the Bible reminds us why it is important to have the right attitude and that God wants us to be faithful in all that we do. We should be motivated by love and unwavering devotion to his kingdom.

Think about your attitude towards your work and the different situations you encounter. Remember that it must show that Jesus has transformed your life. Do not allow yourselves to be distracted or disturbed, and do not engage in paths that may lead you away from the true faith. Stay focused and faithful, persevering in all situations.

Today, do not be discouraged or torn. Let your light shine through your words and deeds and ask God to help you be faithful.

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. How does God want you to show your faith ?

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : “Father, help me to be faithful in all that you give me to do. Put in me your love for others. Gospel. Amen."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What is the Holy Spirit showing you today ? What attitude should you keep or change ?

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
