Know the Word

I confess that Satan has no power over me, because the Word of God says that the blood of Jesus has redeemed me completely.

During an incursion into the Word, I think the Lord showed me how we can triumph over Satan. Most Christians know that we must overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. But many people tend to make it a repetitive expression : "I invoke blood ... I invoke blood. I do not want to denigrate the value of this practice but I observed that sometimes it does not impress the devil. In my opinion, we must proceed more resolutely.

How can we triumph over Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony ? It involves three things : the blood, the word of God, and our testimony. And this is how I interpret the application of Revelation 12:11 : We triumph over Satan when our personal testimony authenticates the claims of the Word about the efficacy of Jesus' blood on us.

It is very clear that if we want to testify to this efficacy as the Word proclaims it concerning the blood of the Lamb, we must at least know what the Word says the blood does. Over the next few days, we will see what the Word says about what the blood of Jesus does for us.

Prayer of the day :

Thank you Lord, for the blood of Jesus. Because of what the Word says, I proclaim that I have defeated Satan by testifying of what the blood of Jesus did for me. I confess that Satan has no power over me, because the Word of God says that the blood of Jesus has redeemed me completely. Amen.
