Let God everything organize

If we want to be honest, we will admit that we often place our trust in others during our times of need. We look to pastors, counselors, friends, spouses for answers. We spend hours, days and even weeks trying to figure out how to solve our problem. And if a solution does not emerge quickly, we continue to work and manipulate it from every angle, until our human resources are exhausted.

Thank God for all the help we get from others, but we do not have to look for an angel to appear or a boat approach. Paul says : "We glorify ourselves in Jesus Christ, and do not put our trust in the flesh" (Philippians 3: 3). It is for the good of our soul that God waits until we look beyond our human resources and look to Him for help. It actually uses people to help us in our lives, but we must let it all organize.

"It is better to seek refuge in the Lord than to trust man" (Psalms 118: 8). "Do not trust a friend, Do not trust an intimate ... For me, I will look to the LORD, I will put my hope in the God of my salvation ; My God will hear me" (Micah 7: 5, 7).

Paul knew perfectly well the impotence of the flesh. He admitted he was not clever. Those who criticized him described his preaching as contemptible, his presence as dull - to sum up, they said he was boring. But such criticism did not cause Paul any trouble because he did not confide in his flesh. He knew that Jesus did not win his battles through intelligence, capabilities, or charisma, but because He placed all his trust in the Father (see 1 Corinthians 1: 27-29).

There is a glorious promise in Hebrews 3:14 for all those who firmly cling to their trust in Jesus : "For we have become partakers of Christ, provided we firmly hold to the end the assurance that we had At the beginning." This means that when we keep unshakable confidence in our Lord, He becomes our sole source of supply. We do not need to look elsewhere.
