Let there be light !

The light shines in the darkness. John 1.5

It is said that one day, a long time ago, a king brought young men from his kingdom. He showed them all the rooms in his palace and all were tastefully furnished and richly decorated.

Then he led them to an entirely empty and dark room. He then suggested that they find a way to fill it with a single object. All the young people were eager to show the king that they were smart, wise, and full of common sense... but none could find a solution. You could fill the room with wheat, feathers or whatever, but not with ONE object !

Only one young man dared to appear before the king with... a candle. When he put the lighted candle in the center of the large dark room, you could see that its light was chasing the darkness. It lit everywhere. The king congratulated the astute young man and kept him as his private adviser.

Jesus came to bring us light. Darkness can no longer invade our heart if Jesus fills it. We'll never be in the night again if he's by our side. Accept that he brings his light into your lives !
