Limitless God

The LORD your God is in your midst a saving hero. He will make you his greatest joy. He will keep silence in his love, then he will rejoice over you. Zephaniah 3:17

Millions of people around the world could go down to the beach and reach out to fill with seawater. They could each take as much as they wanted, as much as they needed it - and despite everything, the ocean would remain unchanged. Its strength and power would be the same, life in its unfathomable depths would remain unchanged, even if it met the needs of each person standing, hands outstretched along its banks.

It is therefore with God. He can be everywhere at once, listening to the prayers of all who cry in the name of Christ ; performing the mighty miracles that keep the stars in their place, the plants bursting through the earth and the fish swimming in the sea. There is no limit to God. There is no limit to his wisdom. There is no limit to his power. There is no limit to his love. There is no limit to his mercy.

Almighty God, may my thoughts be glorious to you, for you are everywhere - you love and care for the smallest details of our lives !
