Listen to the ram's horn !
Jeremiah 6.17 - I have placed watchmen to warn them : Be careful when you hear the ram's horn ! But they said : "We don't care" (Word of Life).
We are living in days like those of the prophet Jeremiah today. The prophetic voice is rising everywhere and it takes two opposing paths: one proclaims that all is well, that Jesus is coming soon, synonymous with the end of all problems. We find it in verse 14 of chapter 6 of Jeremiah : “They do not take seriously the catastrophe which afflicts my people. They say : All is well, all is well. Yet everything is bad”.
The other solemnly warns the people that they must prepare for difficult times. The "ram's horn" rings and rings again, but the majority don't care. I think of this terrible verse of Revelation : "May the unjust still do injustice and the unclean still live in uncleanness, but the righteous still practice righteousness and the saint sanctify himself still" (Revelation 22.11).
You will understand, we are among those who are warning and still warning the members of the Church that this is no longer the time to live as in the days of Noah or Lot (Luke 17.26 to 30). The proportions of “saved” at this time are so small, eight during the flood, three during the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah !
Yet we must see that the vast majority "doesn't care." The message is not pleasing, it is as unpopular as it can be, so far from the pleasant things that Christendom wants to hear. If we wanted “success”, we would have to convey a message of prosperity such as : the three keys to seeing “all” of one's prayers answered ; or again : how to find harmony with yourself by choosing your well-being as an absolute priority.
Beloved, we address ourselves to the “saints”. Sanctify yourself again! Set yourself apart more and more for your God. Give up earthly things and cling to things above (Colossians 3: 2). Listen to the "ram's horn," look for what it announces, be prepared to follow its instructions.
Good reflection
