Little compatibility test !

Revelation 2.7 – To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

To eat from the tree of life, that is to say to have eternal life, here is the test : we have good works, work for God, perseverance (Revelation 2:2). Perseverance manifested by suffering for the name of the Lord without becoming discouraged (Revelation 2:3). We have pierced the lie that hides behind certain “servants of God”. Paul warned us that wolves would come into the fold under our responsibility (Acts 20:29), but we exposed them. We are still struggling against the work of the Nicolaitanes, that is, those who bring the corruption of the world into the church. So we have a right to salvation! Well no ! All this is not enough if we have abandoned our first love, the fervor that animated us when we gave our life to the Lord.

This is a serious warning my beloved ones. How many in the 21st century church can claim to present to God what the Ephesians could present to Him ? What community can claim to have eradicated the spirit of the world from its midst ? Finally, who is compatible to eat the fruit of the tree of life ?

Salvation is not a matter of “doing” but a matter of relationship ! What God is looking for is not servants but “friends” who place themselves at his service. God does not expect our “gifts” but He desires our hearts. His first commandment is : Love him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37). Obedience to this commandment is worth every sacrifice !

The Lord does not condemn. Remember, make your memory work ! Remember where you fell, where, under what circumstances ? Come back to this place, humble yourself and let the fire of love for God ignite you all over again.
