Look at Jesus !

Paul says that a time comes when we must "stand firm after we have overcome everything" (Ephesians 6:13). We hold fast to the Word of God, despite all our suffering and pain, despite all the weakness of our flesh. In the Word of God, we read the story of two people who thought with determination that they simply needed to touch the edge of his garment. (The story of the leader of the synagogue and the woman who had suffered a loss of blood for twelve years, in Mark 5: 22-43).

If you have not yet received an answer to your prayer, you may wonder if God has not forgotten you. I can assure you that He has begun to work for your deliverance from the first moment you prayed and your miracle is on the way.

I encourage you to stop digging in your past and remember what was tied to you in the past. Also do not run from one place to another to look for answers. Approach with faith and touch Jesus for yourself. Place your burdens at his feet and put all things in his hands. He promised never to give you up, so reach out to him.

When David wrote in Psalm 147: 4 that the Lord "counts the number of the stars," he reminds us : "When you are in pain and you feel that everything is hopeless, stop and look at the galaxy." Our Father who loves us has done all this ! When we take the time to focus on the majesty and power of the Creator, we gain perspective and realize that He is more than capable of meeting our personal needs.

We can stand firm in the assurance as we face battles within and pressure outside, by "looking at Jesus, the chief and the consumer of faith" (Hebrews 12: 2).
