Look at things with the divine perspective

There is as much distance between my way of acting and yours, between what I think and what you think, between heaven and earth. Isaiah 55.9

Many Christians have difficulty keeping faith when they pray for something and they do not see their prayers fulfilled after a few days. They think, "My faith must not work ! What's wrong with me ?"

When God tells you something, you have to believe it ...

The problem is that they view things from their point of view, not from God's. Divine thoughts, ideas and points of view are much higher than ours !

When God tells you something, you have to believe him because his timing is perfect. Did you know that Jesus had prophesied the fall of the temple of Jerusalem forty years before this happened ? Someone who had read this prophecy, two weeks, two months, or two years after he had spoken it, might have thought : "He is a false prophet !" Forty years later, this happened exactly as Jesus predicted. Do not put God in the box of your timing. He sees much further than us and operates on a time slot totally different from ours. Everything he says will come true. His thoughts are much greater than ours.

Action for Today

The ways of God are much higher and much better than ours. Pray and keep believing. Do not limit God to your ideas or agenda. Proverbs 3.5 reminds us, "Do not rely on your own intelligence, but place all your trust in the Lord."
